Our mission is to create ethical and high quality bags with unique designs for active and adventurous people like you.

Our production

Handmade With Love

Each bag is handmade by the very talented women in La Carpio, the largest immigrant community of Central America. The process is not industrialized like in most clothing factories. Some women work from the education center of SIFAIS, while others already have their own sewing machine at home and work from there. Either way, every step of our production is carried out by the same women, from cutting the fabrics to finishing it off with our label. This is how we make sure our products have the highest quality standards for our customers.

We produce in small batches (between 30 and 150 items) of each print and once they are sold out, they most likely won’t be reproduced. The bags are not produced in large batches on purpose to avoid overproduction, and to make sure we’re selling 100% of the bags we produce. The leftover fabrics from the larger bags are used to make smaller items like our cosmetic bags, which minimizes waste and guarantees sustainability.

To offer you the best possible price for shipping, we work with Correos de Costa Rica, our national post service.

Because it is not a courier service, shipping out of Costa Rica takes a little more time, but we are certain that you are patient enough to wait for an amazing product.

Shipping to the USA and Canada usually takes about two to three weeks, Europe takes no longer than three weeks and the rest of the world takes about a month.
